Maxi (large dog) design: 1” webbing, ~11″ x 5″  pouch fits a 500 mL bottle. l0” high-resistance bungee. Bite area reinforced. Total length 33″

Our Flyball Favorite Bottle Cruncher

Your flyball practice is demanding. You’re taking feedback, monitoring other dogs and humans, and assessing your dog’s patterns while running. And oh- you’re also making sure your dog gets rewarded!

We thought we’d take some multi-tasking off your plate.

Say hello to the Maxi Bottle Cruncher.

We guarantee it’s flyball-proof.

What is a water bottle dog toy?

A bottle cruncher is traditionally used in flyball. The bite area is a pouch which will fit a plastic water bottle. The noise provided by the water bottle inside the fur pouch is valuable to the dog. That brings the dog back time and again for a game of tug.

Although this toy is very popular with flyball participants, a bottle cruncher is multi-purposed. Think of it as the Toyota Corolla of dog toys. It will fit lots of contents besides a water bottle. Treats, real fur scraps or squeakers are just a few of the things you might want to try when playing with your dog.

Maxi Dog Design

Flyball dogs put their toys through a beating. That’s why we made this bottle tug just for them. It is ideal for large dogs over 40 lbs, or dogs who are very hard on their toys. The faux fur is thick and tight-knit to resist shredding from teeth. The bungee is long and very resistant to protect your body and your dog.

Bee LOVES her bottle cruncher. It’s fun to tug with and great to toss when training our agility go on’s.

  2. Cindy Dalton (verified owner)

Sriracha loves this toy! Very well made and strong. Looking forward to flyball training with this toy.

  3. Tami Linnerud (verified owner)

I have a BorderCollie/Whippet mix (Bippet!) that loves these tugs! She is very hard on her tugs and these new tugs are perfect! I highly recommend them!

  4. Melissa (verified owner)

Our dog LOVES this thing. He actually has a hard time focusing if we use this during training because he’s obsessed with it! (Absolutely nothing wrong with the toy in that regard, just have a weirdo for a dog😛)
Right now we’re mainly using it to encourage speed on recalls and recalls over jumps. He’s a big dog who’s got a very strong grip/bite and the seams, sewing, and handle have all held up well so far too.

  5. Amanda Jones (verified owner)

I bought the purple and cotton candy bottle cruncher. They are beautifully made, tough, and so much fun. My little BC puppy (6 mos) is a tugging fiend. Her recalls are amazing, and she hits the bottle cruncher like nobody’s business. One warning: if you wash the tug, DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER. I learned this the hard way 🙁 the fuzzy fabric melts. So now the cotton candy bottle cruncher is short haired like my puppy. Still functional, just not quite as beautiful.

Jade loves her purple and cotton candy crunch tugs.

  7. Illyana Golden (verified owner)

My friend has one and after checking hers out I knew I needed to order my own. It’s such a durable tug toy! My dogs love the crunch from the bottle and it’s so easy to replace the bottle when it starts to go flat. It’s definitely one of our favorite toys.

  8. Annie (verified owner)

My dogs absolutely LOVE this tug!!

  9. Brittany Fox (verified owner)

Y’know when a toy is just, ‘the one,’ and there’s no real need to go any further? That’s this one for us. I put bottles, squeakers, bottles and squeakers, treats, whatever. Sometimes I think there’s nothing more satisfying to my dog than biting into a brand new water bottle in this toy.

  10. Susan Ball (verified owner)

This is an amazing toy! This is the first “bottle crunch” toy in a long time I’ve gotten for my dogs—I evidently forgot how much they love bottle crunching! I got the bright neon green–for some reason it makes me smile and laugh out loud every time I see it—it’s so green and so BIG. Lots of bite and crunching room! Pretty, colorful, big, durable and a bungee handle. Perfect.
