Choosing the Perfect Size

Small head & lean necked dogs: Dogs that have a small head and a long, lean neck often wear martingales. When adjusted correctly, a martingale will prevent your dog from escaping by backing out of their collar. Measure your dog’s neck where the collar will sit. If your dog measures into more than one size, size down. Examples of breeds with this body shape include: whippets, greyhounds, border whippets, and other sighthound mixes.
Most dogs: Dogs that have a neck that is smaller than their head often wear a flat buckled collar, which snaps closed and pinches open. If this describes your dog, measure where a collar naturally sits on their neck. If your dog measures into more than one size, size down. If your dog is not a sighthound or a sighthound mix, follow this sizing guide.
